Alber Elbaz returned to classic post-war 1940s glamour for his Autumn line for Lanvin. The collection comprised of pieces designed for real women with not a hint of flesh. The dresses had long sleeves, cinched waists and voluminous skirts with a hint of fur around the shoulders.
Elbaz stuck to quite a dark palette broken up with a few nude pieces. Accessories continued the classic glamour with feathered headbands, elbow length gloves and boxy bags.
