Last night in London, Mischa Barton held a party to celebrate the launch of her new boutique at Spitalfields Market. Her boyfriend Sebastian Knapp, Kate Middleton's brother James, and actress Tolula Adeyemi were amongst the guests who turned out to toast the opening. The actress tweeted on Tuesday: "So excited for the store launch tomorrow in Spitalfield's. Really something to be proud of. It's gorgeous." The East London store stocks Mishca's own bag range, clothing line and cosmetic collection, and she told Vogue UK:
"It's nice that everything now has a home, a hub. The brand was born in London, so I wanted [the store] to start here. Spitalfields Market is a perfect fit, because even though it's East, it's still very contained. The stores are really beautiful and old, and there are some really interesting brands here. It's a good place to start. Also, now it's super hip."
Her clothing collection is priced between £25 and £250 and is loosely based on her personal style, but is aimed at a wide-ranging audience: "There are plenty of pieces for people who don't just want to dress like Mischa." The Mischa Barton Boutique at 52 Brushfields Road opens tomorrow, and the proprietor herself will be there meet customers at the official launch day on Saturday August 11.
