Last night in London, Mischa Barton held a party to celebrate the launch of her new boutique at Spitalfields Market. Her boyfriend Sebastian Knapp, Kate Middleton's brother James, and actress Tolula Adeyemi were amongst the guests who turned out to toast the opening. The actress tweeted on Tuesday: "So excited for the store launch tomorrow in Spitalfield's. Really something to be proud of. It's gorgeous." The East London store stocks Mishca's own bag range, clothing line and cosmetic collection, and she told Vogue UK:

"It's nice that everything now has a home, a hub. The brand was born in London, so I wanted [the store] to start here. Spitalfields Market is a perfect fit, because even though it's East, it's still very contained. The stores are really beautiful and old, and there are some really interesting brands here. It's a good place to start. Also, now it's super hip."

Her clothing collection is priced between £25 and £250 and is loosely based on her personal style, but is aimed at a wide-ranging audience: "There are plenty of pieces for people who don't just want to dress like Mischa." The Mischa Barton Boutique at 52 Brushfields Road opens tomorrow, and the proprietor herself will be there meet customers at the official launch day on Saturday August 11. Today is Queen Elizabeth II's first official event as part of her Diamond Jubilee Central Weekend. It's the 233rd Epsom Derby — this year named the Diamond Jubilee Derby in honor of the queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The Epsom Derby kicked off with Ladies Day yesterday, and women sported eccentric hats and plenty of Union Jack attire. As the country's most prestigious horse race, the event draws a who's who of England — including, of course, the royal family. At today's event, Queen Elizabeth presented the Diamond Jubilee Coronation Cup to the winning horse, Camelot, who was trained by Aidan O'Brien and ridden by O'Brien's son, Joseph. Katherine Jenkins sang the national anthem, and members of the royal family like Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie attended the races — along with some stars including Mischa Barton — to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's big event. Last night in London, Mischa Barton attended Michael Evans's birthday party at Mahiki nightclub wearing a bright yellow pleated skirt with matching yellow silk heels. Her nails were painted in a greenish blue varnish and her handbag was quilted with a gold and leather chain strap. However, what stood out the most, was her bright coloured insect-printed blouse. Extensions seem to be everywhere nowadays, but I think we forget about what a huge financial commitment they are. A full head can cost upwards of £600 and when you factor in maintenance every couple of months, the cost quickly rises. That's why I love my Superdrug hair extensions that I can just clip in and out whenever I feel like my hair needs a little volume. They aren't of course made of real hair and so they feel a little bit awkward blended into my natural hair, but they do the trick when I want them for a night out, and they cost me next to nothing. Marc Jacobs Launches 'Bang' at London's Harvey Nichols!

I love a good party, and this one did not disappoint!

I love a good party, and this one did not disappoint! Marc jacobs was in London last night to celebrate the launch of his latest men's fragrance Bang, and yours truly got to go along.

"I Love London, I don't get here enough!" said Marc as he chatted with celebrity friends Jesus Luz (Madonna's hot model boyf), Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears, Beth Ditto, Daisy Lowe, Mischa Barton, Erin O'Connor, Pixie Lott, Diana Vickers and Henry Holland.

The event was held at London's Harvey Nichols and for the occasion the whole bar was decked out in sculpted foil, echoing the metallic effect on the bottle. (Check out the naked picture of Marc in his saucy campaign for it, shot by friend Juergen Teller.)

Jesus Luz DJ'd on the decks, finishing his set with Madonna's "Let's Get This Started" (cue crazy crowd dancing). He was followed by Jake who introduced some disco tunes to the mix.
