Who Will Be the Next Creative Director at Coach?

Even though Emma Hill's departure from Mulberry was announced mere hours ago, there are already rumours as to where she's going next.

Even though Emma Hill's departure from Mulberry was announced mere hours ago, there are already rumours as to where she's going next. At the top of the list? WWD is speculating that Hill may journey stateside to succeed Reed Krakoff as the next creative director of Coach. Wouldn't that be brills?

And why shouldn't she? Hill has spent the past six years creating some of the most iconic bags on the accessories market — the Alexa and the new Willow tote, just to name a few — while also producing season after season of stunning ready-to-wear. Coach is looking to expand beyond simply accessories and outerwear into a full-fledged lifestyle brand — Emma Hill could be exactly what Coach is looking for. But she is not the only designer in the running. A look at who else we wouldn't mind seeing take the job, right after the jump.

'Tis the Season For Crop Tops — Will You Be Wearing One?

The sunnier seasons herald in a much more relaxed approach to dressing.

The sunnier seasons herald in a much more relaxed approach to dressing. For most, that means shedding the layers, and keeping it basic. For others — we count repeat performer Diane Kruger among them — it means breaking out the crop top. Last year, we saw the resurgence of bare midriffs in a noticeable way, and now it's becoming the go-to trend for Hollywood's A-list.

And thanks to Dolce & Gabbana, Prabal Gurung, Calvin Klein, and Marc Jacobs, the latest set of crop top-wearing stars aren't limiting the silhouette to the usual sculpted bralette style. Instead, Kruger chose a sportier version, Doutzen Kroes went with stripes and long sleeves, and Julia Restoin Roitfeld's breezy white iteration reminded us of a sexy slip dress. Since it's only mid-May and Summer hasn't even officially started, we're wondering: Will you be taking the crop-top look for a spin this season?

Marc Jacobs Celebrates His 50th Birthday With A New Scent

Happy 50th to designer celebrity Marc Jacobs!

Happy 50th to designer celebrity Marc Jacobs! Not only should he feel accomplished about what he's done thus far in the fashion world, but he is getting ready to launch a makeup range with Sephora, whilst also gearing up for the Summer release of his brand-new fragrance, Honey. The scent follows Daisy, Dot and Lola, his other three scrumptious scents, yet this one is for sure the sweetest of the bunch. Mixed with notes of green pear, peach, vanilla, mandarin, orange blossom, woods, honeysuckle and honey, it will appeal to your warm and sugary Summery sense. The bottle is also quite seasonal, featuring a black and gold bee that sort-of resembles a butterfly and on-trend black and white dots.

The fragrance was created with the perfume house Firmenich and falls under the Coty label. In a press release, Coty describes Marc Jacobs Honey as, "The height of irresistible charm."

Honey will be available this July in three sizes of an Eau de Parfum, along with a shower gel and body lotion. The ad campaign is pretty subdued this time around showcasing the chic bottle, as opposed to model or friend/celebrity of the designer. So tell me, now that you have all of this intel, does Honey have your senses buzzing about?

Marc Jacobs Wraps Up Fashion Week With a Star-Studded Show

Miley Cyrus and Christina Ricci mingled with a fashionable crowd when they attended the Marc Jacobs Fall 2013 show yesterday.

Miley Cyrus and Christina Ricci mingled with a fashionable crowd when they attended the Marc Jacobs Fall 2013 show yesterday. Marc's show taking place at the end of Fashion Week wasn't intentional — it was originally scheduled for Monday, but was moved due to delivery delays caused by snowstorm Nemo. Both Miley and Christina showed off their midriffs in belly-baring Marc Jacobs ensembles. Meanwhile, Marc Jacobs's muse Sofia Coppola showed her support for her longtime friend when she dropped by in one of his striped t-shirts. Fashion Week fixture Rachel Zoe also made an appearance in a dramatic blue and white striped frock.

Miley Cyrus kept herself busy during New York Fashion Week, visiting shows for Marchesa and Rachel Zoe as well as hosting a party for Cosmopolitan magazine. Miley isn't just at the shows to make appearances — she might be checking out gowns for her upcoming wedding to Liam Hemsworth. Miley said that Marchesa is "definitely" a possibility for her wedding dress, but noted that she has "so many options" at this point.

Alice Dellal is the New Marc by Marc Jacobs' Model

Some girls have all the luck.

Some girls have all the luck. First, Alice Dellal, the punky, half-head shaven British born 24 year old heiress and drummer landed the Chanel Boy bag campaign, and now she's been signed as the new face of Marc by Marc Jacobs' Spring/Summer 2012 line. Is it a coincidence that such amazing contracts have come her way? I reckon it's likely a mixture of desire, attitude, hard work and let's face it — who you know. Her mum is a former Brazilian model and her sister Charlotte is known for making the hottest shoes in London right now under the alias Charlotte Olympia.

Best of luck to Alice, who is a bit of an old hat at modeling. In 2008, she was the face of Mango, Agent Provocateur and her g-dfather is Mario Testino. So far, here are two of the photos that have emerged from her latest campaign where she poses with male model Erik Andersson. Would you like to see more of Alice in the future of fashion?
