The film's special pre-Met Ball screening proved another glamourous evening in NYC, with the style crowd in full attendance. Carey Mulligan opted for a menswear-inspired look in a Lanvin tuxedo jacket and trousers, while Katy Perry showcased her signature style in a crop top and full skirt, finished with a floral headpiece. Meanwhile, the fashion pack made their mark with Solange Knowles in a striped, peplum-trimmed dress and dapper looks from Brad Goreski and Prabal Gurung. Last night in New York City, Prada threw a party in honour of the movie, The Great Gatsby where they were able to show off the very special wardrobe from the film created by Miuccia Prada and costume designer Catherine Marti. Guests included leading lady Carey Mulligan, Florence Welch, Alexa Chung, Isla Fisher and more who were all clad in Miu Miu and Prada. Channing Tatum donned an all-white suit to hit the dance floor with costars Jamie Foxx and Maggie Gyllenhaal at a party to celebrate their film, White House Down, in Cancun, Mexico, last night. Channing, who was sporting scruffy new facial hair, showed off his dance moves alongside Jamie, and also paired off for a dance with Maggie, who wore a white Apiece Apart dress. Jamie, who plays President James Sawyer in the action flick, posed with Channing in front of a mock presidential portrait for the promotional fun ahead of the film's June 28 release.

Channing has a lot going on at the moment. He has been spending the bulk of his time in London with his pregnant wife, Jenna Dewan, while on location to shoot Jupiter Ascending. Although he has been keeping up a busy schedule, the expectant pair snuck in a recent double date with another A-list couple. Channing and Jenna paired up with his Jupiter Ascending costar Mila Kunis and her boyfriend, Ashton Kutcher, for a date night at the London Opera last weekend.

Michelle Williams showed off a new shaved hairstyle at the launch for her friend and stylist Kate Young's Target collection in NYC yesterday. She wore a white tuxedo jacket and blue shorts, all from the Kate Young for Target collection, as she caught up with Kate at the event. Michelle has been laying low in her Brooklyn neighborhood over the past few weeks after she finished up her promotional duties for Oz the Great and Powerful. She has been keeping busy by running errands, including trips to the grocery store with daughter Matilda and taking walks with her dog Lucky.

Michelle's fellow Brooklynite Maggie Gyllenhaal — and her husband Peter Sarsgaard — also turned out to support Kate, as did House of Cards star Kate Mara, who looked gorgeous in a yellow dress. Both ladies also wore Kate Young for Target as they said hi to other Kate Young fans including Giada de Laurentiis.

The public park was closed off for the event and filled with carnival games, like a dunk tank and fortune teller's booth. Penn Badgley attended without girlfriend Zoe Kravitz, and showed off a seriously bushy beard. Maggie Gyllenhaal also stepped out to check out the scene, as did Anna Kendrick, Kate Mara, Jessica Stam, Benjamin Walker, and more. Many of the ladies made the rounds carrying pieces from Coach's new Legacy Collection. Anna is hanging out in NYC after a clip from her new movie dropped this week. The Pitch Perfect trailer came out Friday, showing Anna taking a page from Dianna's series Glee and joining an all-girls music group.

Blake Lively kept warm in her coat last night as she took a break from filming the Gossip Girl finale for a night at the BAM theatre gala. Blake's been hitting the headlines as she's starring in the new Chanel ad campaign — FabUK has all the amazing photos. She posed with her Green Lantern costar Peter Sarsgaard at the event, who attended with his wife Maggie Gyllenhaal. At the weekend, Carey was spotted with Eddie Redmayne on a romantic stroll in Manhattan, leading to speculation that she is no longer dating Tom Sturridge. Jake, meanwhile, has been linked with everyone from young star Jennifer Lawrence to his former girlfriend Jenny Lewis and his even more recent ex Taylor Swift.
