Over the weekend both Daisy Lowe and Alice Dellal wore Fendi over-the-knee boots to a party in Paris and yesterday I asked you who wore them better. Whilst you were mainly left divided it confirmed the footwear's status as the boot of the season despite the slightly-hefty £730 price tag.

Whilst perusing the Miss Selfridge website yesterday I came across this rather lovely pair of suede over the knee boots (£85).
Whilst not being exactly like the Fendi version, the stitching detail and shape is very similar and the heel height is sensible enough to avoid looking OTT. Team with skinny jeans and a paisley print top for a dressed-down style or if you're feeling brave opt for a high waisted mini à la Alice Dellal.

Bargainous ... and I actually like the high street pair more than the designer pair ... is that wrong? I think it's wrong, but I'm sticking to it.
