Luella Bartley is like the Madonna of the fashion world. She constantly reinvents herself to make sure no two collections look the same. However, she does always dress the same girl — the hip Londoner. For Autumn '09 she recruited hip London scenesters Pixie Geldof and Portia Freeman to show off her funky military school kids inspired line. The collection presented 24 very different looks, but all with the same young, rebellious streak. There was a touch of metallic, a sprinkling of military and a whole load of to-die-for party dresses.
She used a range of fabrics to mix textures from cracked leather to sheer panels to tweed. There were also a few pom-pom adorned accessories. Every Luella collection has had a touch of equestrian and this one was no exception with hunting style jackets and jodhpurs. One thing's for sure, Luella never fails to perk up the mid-fashion week slump!

I love Luella. She's always so whimsical.
I loved the black with gold military button detailing. And I absolutely loved the gold tights (now that is fun!).
But my favorite is the red coat.
1And I my second favorite is this "updated" and modern Chanel look (that's why I would call it...)
