You have to give Julian Macdonald credit for taking glamour to a new level, he is definitely not a man that does things by halves. He has just closed London Fashion Week for another season and definitely did not go quietly. The Welsh designer who is loved by a diverse range of celebrity women from Dame Shirley Bassey to Naomi Campbell to Paris Hilton ended his show with a showering of glitter.
Macdonald's collection of chunky knitwear was a great reminder of why we love winter. The knits were layered (mainly with fur) and high necked. It was kept in dark shades of charcoal, grey and black with dark eye and lip make-up. This was in direct contrast to his evening dresses which were gold and mirrored. Do you prefer the knitwear or the evening dresses?
