Emma Stone

Movie 43 Trailer: A Filthy Anthology Starring . . . Everyone

I'd love to tell you the full star-studded cast of Movie 43 but I'm afraid we'd be here all day.

I'd love to tell you the full star-studded cast of Movie 43 but I'm afraid we'd be here all day. The trailer for off-the-wall comedy includes Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Anna Faris, Emma Stone, Jason Sudeikis, Chris Pratt, Chloe Moretz, Justin Long, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The film is a collection of 25 different stories, and as far as I can tell, the only common theme is stars behaving badly. Halle Berry blows out the candles on a blind kid's birthday cake, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber bully their teenager, and Gerard Butler is a leprechaun.

A handful of bloated comedies have proven that the megaensemble is a tricky beast, but this has me wondering if the formula might actually work this time. It could be amazing, or it could be an epic fail. The movie opens Jan. 25, and you can watch the NSFW red-band trailer after the jump.

Funny Stars Step Out For a Good Time in the Big Apple

Seth Rogen joined his Armani-clad wife, Lauren Miller, at last night's NYC premiere of For a Good Time, Call .

Seth Rogen joined his Armani-clad wife, Lauren Miller, at last night's NYC premiere of For a Good Time, Call . . . Lauren wrote the raunchy comedy and costars in it with funny lady Ari Graynor, who chose a pink low-cut dress from Honor and Brian Atwood heels. Justin Long, who's reportedly dating Kate Mara, stepped out solo and adorably posed for photos holding his phone. Paul Rudd, Kristen Wiig, and Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss stopped by the afterparty to show their support for the project. Elisabeth debuted a short blond bob on the red carpet and turned heads in a sexy black cocktail dress. When asked if blondes really have more fun, Elisabeth joked that she is "so far." For a Good Time, Call . . . hits theaters Aug. 31.

James McAvoy

Movie Preview: James McAvoy in Robert Redford's The Conspirator

Bust out your stovepipe hat, because we're about to journey back to the time of Abraham Lincoln.

Bust out your stovepipe hat, because we're about to journey back to the time of Abraham Lincoln. Robert Redford's The Conspirator centers around the trials following the assassination of our 16th president, and in particular, the lone woman charged with taking part in his murder: Mary Surratt. Robin Wright plays the accused, while James McAvoy steps into the role of her lawyer. But perhaps Surratt was actually innocent? The film's trailer suggests that she was covering up for her guilty son in the ultimate act of motherly love.

Historical dramas often get a bum rap for being boring, but I'm already intrigued by this one. It looks like part courtroom drama, part thriller, with a stellar cast. Redford has pulled together a supporting ensemble featuring everyone under the sun, including Alexis Bledel, Evan Rachel Wood, Justin Long, Tom Wilkinson, and Kevin Kline. My only concern: Long's mustache. I'm sorry, but it's just ridiculous. Give it and the rest of the film a look after the jump.

Emma Stone's known as a redhead, but for her role in the new Spider-Man reboot, she's playing blonde Gwen Stacy alongside Andrew Garfield. Last night she stepped out for the first time since going back to a more natural shade for her, since she's always dyed her hair red from blonde. She was out in LA to support The Trevor Project — a US based suicide hotline for gay and questioning youth — alongside Anna Kendrick, Neil Patrick Harris, James Marsden, Jessica Alba and Josh Duhamel. Glee's Jane Lynch also attended, while her costars performed in London on The X Factor.

Ryan Gosling brought a special lady, his mum, Donna, as his date to the second annual Governors Awards in LA on Saturday night. The birthday boy celebrated his 30th at Disneyland on Friday, and while he's had plenty of memorable onstage moments in the past, the evening was all about the honourees like Francis Ford Coppola and Eli Wallach. Sofia Coppola came out to support her dad alongside Natalie Portman in a gorgeous purple Lanvin gown, a Marchesa-wearing Hilary Swank, and Elle Fanning in Valentino. The ladies were joined by guests Stephen Dorff, who recently showed off his shirtless physique, Justin Long, and Josh Brolin, who stuck by his red-hot wife, Diane Lane.

She wore a sexy black dress, while Blake Lively was a showstopper in red sequins. Ben once again goofed around with Jon Hamm and Jeremy Renner before introducing his second directorial effort to the audience. The whole crew, Jennifer included, celebrated late into the night at their afterparty. Ben's best friend Matt Damon also has a movie at the festival, Hereafter, and he stepped out yesterday afternoon for a private lunch for his ONEXONE foundation.

James Franco arrived in the morning yesterday, just in time for his first press conference promoting 127 Hours. The incredibly intense Danny Boyle movie based on the true story about a trapped rock climber is already getting great reviews, and enigmatic James happily posed with his costar Kate Mara. On Friday, Megan Fox gushed about married life with Brian Austin Green by her side at the screening of her Passion Play. Vogue covergirl Carey Mulligan had a big grin on her face for the debut of Never Let Me Go while her boyfriend, Shia LaBeouf, was spotted jogging elsewhere in the city on Saturday. Clive Owen put on a sexy stare for his duties talking Trust alongside his director David Schwimmer. Javier Bardem was in town for Biutiful, Marion Cotillard looked gorgeous for Little White Lies, and Ellen Page got buddy buddy with Justin Long for her project Super. Drew Barrymore and Justin Long left their hotel in London today for a visit to Radio One. Their UK promotion continued after the Going the Distance premiere and party last night, where they got close on the blue carpet. Drew was the only one that appeared on air talking to Sara Cox, although Justin made her laugh outside the studio window by miming amusing things! She said that they have a past together and that's where the boundaries of that conversation are always going to be, but he is one of the funniest people she knows. You can listen here, she's back in LA on Sunday before some time in NYC next Tuesday — phew!
