Recent months have seen the return of classic beauties like Claudia Schiffer and Helena Christensen. Now Jerry Hall joins them in the Spring adverts for Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld photographed Jerry, and based the shoot on Colette's post-war novel, Cheri, a love story between an older woman and a younger man. Karl gathered his inspiration from Oscar Wilde who said, "I like men who have a future, and women who have a past." Karl went onto explain, "It was the idea of seduction that is summarised here that appeals to me. One of a very young man fascinated and attracted by what a woman does: her wardrobe, her perfume, her movements, her allure, etc."

The male model featured in these images is Baptiste Giabiconi. With Madonna also recently being photographed with a younger man, I sense a trend emerging. What do you think of the images below?
