I think it's a lot easier if you apply a natural eyeshadow (well primer first) and then use the liquid eyeliner. The eyeshadow absorbs a bit and it wont fade. I wear it daily, so I have a steady hand, but if I don't use the eyeshadow, it becomes a mess.

I don't have a problem applying liquid eyeliner, but a have a major problem getting it to last. Even if I let it dry for several minutes, use primer, or set it with powder, it bleeds onto my eyelid and sticks to itself. Grrrr....
