This Autumn a classic print returns as the monochrome houndstooth adorns formalwear. It varies from graphic styles to a smaller more classic version.
If you work in an office, this is the perfect way to update your wardrobe for the cooler months. Preen have used the print for cool frocks including this silk number (£850) and a power dress (£735).
Alexander McQueen also used houndstooth in his Autumn collection where it was teamed with unusual head pieces. The pencil dress (£920) with shoulder pads is one of my favourites. Will you be wearing houndstooth this Autumn?

1I absolutely love houndstooth, and I have been scouring for one since I saw Blair on Gossip Girl in that adorable pink houndstooth dress...
I am not really that into houndstooth as I find it a bit dated - but if you say it's coming back Fab, then I believe you! I still don't think I'll be buying anything with the print soon though ...
2hmm the big houndstooth prints are a bit hard for me to stand on the eyes, I dont know if id be able to do these dresses in black and white, maybe a grey? i dunno but that doesnt look as sharp, they look nice yes, definately good shapes but personally i think id have headaches all day long from my dress.
