If I was Lauren Conrad, I would be very nervous about any form of surprise (particularly a surprise party) as drama seems to follow her around. This weekend saw the beginning of the fifth (and final for Lauren) series of The Hills and it kicked off with a few fireworks. Lo and Audrina planned a birthday celebration for Lauren on a boat (note: no escape route) and everything didn't quite run as smoothly as planned when an unexpected guest arrived. This brought double drama as Spencer proved he might be the most foolish man on the planet as he briefly forgot about the powers of modern technology. How well were you watching?
