Tonight, the rainy red carpet in London was a sea of black. Check out this slideshow of fifteen women who wowed in black this evening and let me know whose ensemble you like most.

Emily Blunt Honors Her Fellow Brits at LFCC Awards
Emily Blunt celebrated both Hollywood and her fellow British actors at the 2013 London Film Critics' Circle Awards on Sunday. Emily wore Alexander McQueen to the event and was nominated for best British actress for her roles in Looper and Your Sister's Sister but was beat out by Andrea Riseborough. Meanwhile, Les Misérables's Samantha Barks was nominated for young British performer of the year but was bested by The Impossible's Tom Holland. Samantha's costar Helena Bonham Carter was given one of the biggest honors of the night, the Dilys Powell award for excellence in film. Other big winners from the night included Anne Hathaway, who won best supporting actress; Joaquin Phoenix, who won actor of the year; and Emmanuelle Riva, who won actress of the year. Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer Join Forces in the New Trailer For The Lone Ranger
October brought us a taste of Jerry Bruckheimer's latest when the first trailer for The Lone Ranger dropped. Now, we get a much more revealing look at the film, starring Armie Hammer as the Western hero and Johnny Depp as his faithful sidekick, Tonto, in a more extensive second trailer. We meet John Reid (aka The Lone Ranger) as he wakes up disoriented and dirty on a watchtower in the middle of the desert, apparently because Tonto buried him. His resurgence from the (literal) grave makes Tonto believe he is some kind of spirit walker, a man who cannot be killed in battle. Because they are both proclaimed justice seekers, they elect to "ride together."
Whereas the first trailer foreshadows how the invention of the railroad will affect the West and bring greedy villains to power, this preview has a lot more information about the heroic pair themselves. I already like the two together, and I can't wait to see whether or not Hammer can carry a lead role next to documented scene stealer Depp. The Lone Ranger is set to open July 3, and you can watch the trailer after the jump.
The Lone Ranger Trailer: When Depp and Hammer Are Men in Masks
The times, they are a-changin' for folks in the Wild West. The trailer for The Lone Ranger depicts a world in the process of being altered forever with the advent of the railroad. Men will no longer be at the mercy of their horses to take them to far places, and with this epic invention comes crime the likes of which people have never seen. Enter peacekeeper John Reid, aka The Lone Ranger (Armie Hammer). Guided by his sidekick, Tonto (Johnny Depp), he vows to protect his native land and keep criminals at bay.
The Lone Ranger character has been portrayed in several movies and series, but I was hoping to get a few more details about Gore Verbinski's retelling. What I can tell you is that there are bandits, ladies — specifically, Helena Bonham Carter — fast-moving trains, Johnny Depp dangerously clinging to the bottom of those fast-moving trains, and saloons. The movie comes out July 3, and you can watch the trailer after the jump.
Prada Debuts A Therapy Film Featuring Helena Bonham Carter at Cannes

Last night at Cannes Film Festival, Prada unveiled its latest short which features British acting legends Ben Kingsley and Helena Bonham Carter draped in the Italian fashion house's luxurious wares, with a purple fur coat amusingly taking centre stage. The three-minute feature A Therapy, written and directed by Roman Polanski, was screened as part of the Cannes Classic selection. A Prada spokesperson said: "We wanted to keep it light and funny, we see this as a film, not an advertisement." Roman Polanski said:
"The chance to dwell on what the fashion world represents nowadays and the fact that it is accompanied by so many stereotypes is fascinating and at the same time a bit upsetting, but you definitely cannot ignore it. It's very refreshing to know that there are still places open to irony and wit and, for sure, Prada is one of them."

Textures Rule at Dark Shadows London Premiere
Velvet, satin, netting, lace and sheer fabrics were all on display at the Dark Shadows premiere in London last night. Michelle Pfeiffer wore a satin burgundy strapless Lanvin dress with Sergio Rossi peep toe heels for the UK premiere at Empire Leicester Square, while Helena Bonham Carter was unsurprisingly eye-catching in a Vivienne Westwood frock with heaps of netting. Chloe Moretz embraced British culture by wearing a red McQ Alexander McQueen AW12 dress in velvet and broderie anglais. Her costar Eva Green also went for velvet in Tom Ford, while Bella Heathcote wore lace Pucci and Paloma Faith was in sheer Dolce & Gabbana. Stars Stop Traffic In Red at the Jameson Empire Awards
Last night at the Grosvenor House in Mayfair, models, actors and socialites gathered for the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards. Whilst the men were dapper in their suits and ties, the ladies really shined in red from all angles. Whether it be their dresses, hair, shoes, lipstick or bags, red was the colour of the evening. Check out photos from last night's fète to see what I'm talking about!
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and J.K. Rowling Bid Farewell to Harry Potter With Their London Fans
Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and the extended cast of Harry Potter came together in London's Trafalgar Square today to premiere the final installment of the saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Emma arrived in a beautiful floor-length Oscar de la Renta gown and raced over to greet fans and sign autographs before taking her place on the red carpet. Her best friends in the film, Rupert and Daniel, followed closely behind, also thanking fans and posing for pictures. The principle cast took the stage with J.K. Rowling and spoke to the audience of millions watching across the globe. Daniel first thanked fans and the cast and went on to say, "This isn't the end as fans will carry this story with them through the rest of their lives."
Emma then took to the podium and professed her love for her costars and especially Rupert and Daniel, saying, "Dan didn't get lucky, you were and are the perfect Harry and will be forever" and thanked "Rupert for making me laugh, I'll miss you so much," then broke down into tears before thanking J.K. for playing such a "great role model" in her life. Rupert was the final of the trio to take the mic, saying a simple "I love you" to the fans and crew and thanking J.K for everything she's done "for ginger people." It was a day full of mixed emotions for all of those involved with the franchise, and J.K. even joked, "I should write another one!" before wrapping up the event with her final words, saying, "Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."
