Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett showed support for their fellow Australian actors when they attended the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards in Sydney yesterday. Nicole walked the red carpet in a yellow Erdem dress with nude Brian Atwood sandals while Cate turned up the glamour factor in a red Armani gown. The ladies joined host Russell Crowe and AACTA president Geoffrey Rush at the event, marking the first time that all four actors — who have each won an Oscar, BAFTA, a Golden Globe, and an AFI Award — were in the same room at the same time. At the event, the Australian film The Sapphires won the biggest awards of the night, including best film, best direction, and best actor for Chris O'Dowd.

Although the official AACTA Awards took place in Australia, there was a special AACTA Awards lunch held in LA over the past weekend. At the lunch, we caught up with honoree and Aussie actress Jacki Weaver who talked about playing Bradley Cooper's mom in Silver Linings Playbook. Jacki also revealed at the AACTA lunch that her costar Jennifer Lawrence is battling pneumonia, although Jennifer pulled it together to attend the SAG Awards on Sunday.

At the Philip Treacy Spring 2013 show during London Fashion Week last week, Kelly Brook donned the Issa Cotton-Blend Lace Dress (£660). It was the same number that Gemma Arterton wore front row at the Issa London Autumn/Winter 2012 show at London Fashion Week back in February. British actress Gemma added Christian Louboutin heels and kept the rest of her look simple with barely there makeup and a centre parting, while British model Kelly also teamed the dress with point toe heels, but brought red nails, smoky eyes and gold jewellery to the party. Gemma Arterton Talks Fashion and Beauty at Burberry

After the Burberry Prorsum show last week in London, I was able to catch a quick moment with the lovely Gemma Arterton, who you may know from movies such as The Quantum of Solace and Tamara Drew.

After the Burberry Prorsum show last week in London, I was able to catch a quick moment with the lovely Gemma Arterton, who you may know from movies such as The Quantum of Solace and Tamara Drew. She was super sweet (touching my shoulder to make sure I was all right when an aggressive video team tried to interrupt our interview), very poised, and also quite beautiful in person. Here's what Gemma had to say in our brief moments together:

On London Fashion Week: I'm not interested in designing or anything like that. I'll leave that to the pros. This is the only show that I came to during London Fashion Week to support one of my favourite brands.

On the Burberry Prorsum show: It's been a dream come true for me to come to this show. I loved everything, but if I had to choose, I'd say that my favourite piece was a blue pencil skirt. I also loved all of the woven bits, the peach belt, shoes, and bags so much.

On the one makeup product she can't live without: Ahh, my Dior Waterproof Eyeliner — it's absolutely amazing. I wear it all of the time!

Women Wow on the BAFTAs Red Carpet

The women brought a range of beautiful looks to the BAFTA Awards red carpet in London this evening.

The women brought a range of beautiful looks to the BAFTA Awards red carpet in London this evening. Kimberley Walsh went for a nude Ashley Isham gown with full hair and long lashes. Emma Watson wore a long romantic dress, while J K Rowling went for a printed number. Red carpet host Rachel Stevens accessorised her nude dress with gold.

Actresses from across the Atlantic brought lots of colour to the red carpet. Jennifer Lawrence was one of several stars sporting blue. Emma Stone matched her dress to the carpet in a bright shade and settled on feminine makeup. Jessica Alba went for electric blue and red lips, and wore her hair in plaits. Amy Adams went with a coral Elie Saab number.

British stars also wore a variety of outfits. Tilda Swinton wore a sharp trouser suit, while Thandie Newton went all out in a big pink frock and subtle makeup. Gemma Arterton's blue sash and red lipstick brought some colour to her LBD, while Helena Bonham Carter was surprisingly conservative in an all-black Vivienne Westwood ensemble. Make sure you vote on all of BellaUK and FabUK's polls, and make your choice about who was best dressed.
