Distill will be produced under the watchful eye of Colin McDowell (pictured), who will be part time editor-in-chief and Helen Johnston, formerly of Grazia. Art direction will come from US Vogue's Sheila Jack.
Matthew Line, a former editor of Homes & Gardens and She, will be Distill's editorial director commented, "We believe there are a number of other organisations potentially looking at a digest model. The fashion and style magazine industry is so visual that it's perfect for reproduction in print again." The only fresh content in the magazine will be commentary explaining why certain pieces have been chosen. The magazine will launch in late August.
