For the June/July issue of French Vogue they have opted for two covers featuring the same outfit but on two French stars, Laetitia Casta and Noemie Lenoir. The cover comes as Italian Vogue plans a July issues featuring almost all black models. It seems that the fashion press, at least, are standing up and noticing the racial equality issue within the industry. What do you think of the decision to have two covers?

That's very interesting considering how racist France is as a whole, I'm really interested to see what the margin between sales will be for both covers.
1Jean - Marie Le Pen will be foaming at the mouth!
In the case of the above, I think it is really great then that French Vogue are leading the way in moving forward.
2ooo la la I might have to pick this one up to read before I head to Paris in a week! I do like Laetita, but I don't know how it will help to have two covers, because one is most likely not going to sell as many issues as another. I do, however, like to see magazines using a variety of models of all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities
3Why wouldn't they just pick one? I don't understand.
4The second one looks the best.
