There are so many fashion books on offer these days that you run the risk of re-reading the same information or seeing the same picture time and time again. However, when I heard about Judith Watt's Dogs in Vogue (£26) I knew I was in for a truly unique experience! I'm sure the title makes you slight skeptical, and if I'm honest I felt the same too, but this is a really beautiful coffee table read.

It charts the use of dogs in the fashion publication from the very early days of Vogue when mainly illustrations were used to the modern day. It's interesting to see how much canines have been used and the varying effects.

I think this would be such a great gift for a fashion friend who already seems to have it all. I really enjoyed looking at all of the gorgeous imagery, and am now wishing I had a pooch of my own! Do you like to read fashion books?
