Dramatic make up often appears in photo shoots but how well does it translate to every day life? Highly pigmented eye make up is now widely available with the likes of Mac, Barry M and Nars all offering bright ranges.
It can look great if well applied and many celebrities try it out including Bat for Lashes and Alison Goldfrapp.
Do you wear dramatic make up?
Sephora
I dressed up as Debbie Harry last Halloween and that was a dramatic make-up look. I kinda loved it... but was afraid to touch my face for fear of smudging my art! Loved Natasha Khan (Bat For Lashes) dramatic make-up look at The Brits though... fabulous!
1Errrr I often wear liquid liner but I can't do a smokey eye or put on liner in a 'traditional' way to save my life.
So, no. I just gave up on trying to look dramatic because I was tired of looking like a raccoon instead.
2I love to wear a bit of dramatic make-up for nights out. I like wearing bright orange lipstick or wearing fushia lipstick with matching blush but I don't pile it on like the photo above. It looks dirty when you pile it on.
3No, I'm not a clown.
