i'm gonna be brave and say i don't really care but i do know that 99% of ingredients out there have already been tested on animals a long time ago, so when a company says they don't test, they say the truth, but they use the exact same ingredient that maybe they in the past have tested or their parent company has or they hired a company to provide the ingredient that has been tested. nobody needs to test mineral oil or glycerine anymore, we know it's safe and new ingredients are quite slow to come to the surface, but it'd rather have human or animal tests done, before i put it on myself.

i put sometimes only b/c i don't always check the labels for animal testing. but i do feel better about buying products when i read that no animal testing is done. i'm not a vegetarian or anything but it's a little cruel to test stuff on animals.

Nope. For a long time I was against the idea but for some reason never really took the time to check the labels. I've become really strict about it these last few years; I have a slightly different view on testing drugs on animals, but I don't need makeup or shampoo to survive and I don't want to become too vain or lazy that I can't even be bothered to check a label and pick a different bottle on the same shelf.
I think it's really important that, as consumers, we're aware of what causes we support when we spend money.
