Now that matchy matchy is less fashionable than ever, does this still apply to makeup looks? While personally I don't like to match my toe and finger nail varnish, lots of you love working this co-ordinated look. I am quite excited by the idea of matching the latest tomato-hued red lips with nails though.

I've never even thought about it! My nails don't match with my toes right now ... I've got navy on my fingers and a bright and perky pink on my toes. Oops. Luckily for me, it's winter and sandals are not making an appearance anytime soon!
1my toenail color is deep purple, and my hand nails are light pink, i never match toes and hand nails!!! so i will never do the lip and hand!
2Ok I just read your post again, Bella and I agree that red lips and red varnish looks good together - maybe not everyday, but yes, I could see myself putting them together. However, I was imagining someone trying to find the perfect shade of coral pink lip colour to match their coral pink nails! That would be a bit OTT to me ...
3In the south, in America this is a really common thing to do, but not so much here. I love doing gold nails and gold lips, but that's about it for me.
