A friend confessed last night that she's going makeup cold turkey! She's trying to give her skin a break from makeup, but instead, of just paring it down to a little mascara and lip gloss – she's going to be giving it all up.
Personally, I'm not sure I could do this, but I do try and have days where I don't wear any makeup at all. I think it's good to give your skin a break every once in a while, but a whole week without makeup would be torture!
How about you, do you ever go without makeup for a few days?
Do you go makeup cold turkey on lazy weekends? Or are you too much of a beauty addict to even contemplate it?

When I have fake tanned I often don't wear foundation and just mascara because I don't feel the need - I feel it would look too much anyway
1I voted for 'only if I was very sick and no one could see me!"
2I feel really bare if I go out without make-up...
3I wouldn't wear it if I was ill though, I wouldn't be bothered about my appearance if I was feeling rubbish :]
I love makeup but I can go for weeks/months without even thinking of wearing any. For starters, I'm not a morning person so I'd rather sleep 10 more mins than put on makeup, plus I don't really need mascara to make coffee for my boss (ugh). The day I have a job that's more challenging I might try and be less lazy.
4I've always concentrated much more on my skin than my makeup, so it's not uncommon for me to go days or weeks without wearing anything more than moisturizer and lip gloss on my face. It's worked for me so far; people compliment my skin all the time and I'm still always carded at bars when the rest of my friends aren't
5I work weeks of night shifts - and definetly don't wear any slap when I'm on nights, working on the principle that my patients during nights
61) should either be too sick to care that I look like the living dead or
2) should not have pitched up in hospital at this time of night and therefore don't deserve me to look nice.
Very rarely.
7All the time. I wear makeup because I like doing it, not because I feel I need it. I used to have terrible acne so the freedom of not having to put a layer of foundation on is so freeing. So I go out without it on loads. I don't think anything of it.
