Demi Moore joined several Oscar-winning Hollywood stars at AFI's Night at the Movies event in NYC last night. She wore a sheer jumpsuit as she mingled with stars like Harrison Ford, Sally Field, and Cher, who were all at the event to introduce one of their classic movies during the film-lovers bash. Demi presented Ghost, her 1990 film with Patrick Swayze, while Cher introduced Moonstruck and Sally chatted about Norma Rae. This was a rare red carpet appearance for Demi, whose last public event was to check out Ferragamo's Spring runway collection alongside Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe back in January. She didn't make it to the Sundance Film Festival this year, but her new film with Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning, Very Good Girls, did premiere to decent reviews at the annual event.
Ferragamo Hosts a High-Fashion Dinner For Nicole, Rachel, and More
Nicole Richie joined Emma Roberts, Demi Moore, and Rachel Zoe to check out Ferragamo's Spring runway collection at a VIP dinner hosted by Harper's Bazaar at LA's Chateau Marmont last night. Rachel made the rounds with her husband, Rodger Berman, by her side, saying hello Tobey Maguire's wife, Jennifer Meyer; host Jacqui Getty; and more. Demi showed up solo, sporting a sexy black dress with knee-high boots, after stopping by the Matt Damon-hosted episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Emma Roberts, meanwhile, mingled with pal Gia Coppola. It was a busy night for Nicole, as well, who was on double duty after also attending the Elle Women in Television event.
Rachel Zoe and Demi Moore Team up to Help Toast a Pal's New Show
Rachel Zoe and Demi Moore helped their pal Amanda de Cadenet kick off her new TV show in LA last night. The ladies teamed up with InStyle and the magazine's editor Ariel Foxman to toast the program, called The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet at a private home in Beverly Hills. The event was Demi Moore's first public outing since leaving a rehab program she entered in January. Demi also announced yesterday that she's ready for another big change: changing her twitter handle from @MrsKutcher. Demi tweeted that she is taking suggestions, but has yet to pick her new moniker.
Demi posed for photos alongside Rachel, as well as other actresses like Joy Bryant, Kelly Preston, and Jordana Brewster. Amanda, a British TV personality married to musician Nick Valensi of The Strokes, is the host of the show, which features interviews with stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga, and Jane Fonda about issues important to women. The Conversation debuts April 26 at 11 p.m. on Lifetime.

Would You Ever Use a Stylist?

Celebrities use stylists all of the time because they have to make so many appearances at events and on the red carpet where they are going to be photographed, gawked at and judged. However, for most of us who aren't attending these types of events, we just want to look fashion-forward and well put together when we leave the house. I know that I can get overwhelmed by trends and would love a stylist to put already existing items together from my closet, and do some shopping for me to find flattering and fabulous pieces for me to wear.
Stylists are expensive, but if the right one came along, I'd be willing to splurge. How about you, would you like to have a stylist to call on?
Demi Moore Is a Solo Lady in Red For NYC Margin Call Premiere
Demi Moore wore a slim-cut red sheath dress and towering Brian Atwood heels at the Margin Call premiere in NYC on Monday evening. Demi was solo for the screening, but she kept a big smile on her face and her wedding ring on her finger despite the persistent rumors about the state of her marriage. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have yet to attend an event together since the infidelity stories broke last month, though they were reportedly spotted visiting a Kabbalah center together over the weekend in LA. Demi and Ashton were also photographed camping outside Santa Barbara earlier this month and there were moving trucks outside of their home last week that sparked even more speculation. While neither half of the couple have yet to publicly address the situation, Demi and Ashton are still going about their business. In addition to promoting her Lifetime project Five, he was on his own on Friday at Bill Clinton's star-studded 65th birthday bash.

Jennifer Aniston Tells Glamour She Wants "Awesomeness" in Her Relationships
Jennifer Aniston covers October's Glamour, which is on newsstands Sept. 6, along with her pals Demi Moore and Alicia Keys. The three ladies teamed up to create a series of short films for the Lifetime network that will be broadcast together as the program Five, and each piece focuses on how breast cancer affects women's lives. Jennifer's currently settling into her new home with boyfriend Justin Theroux, but she spoke to the magazine recently about what she likes in relationships, getting her star on the Walk of Fame, and what she sought to accomplish with her minimovie. She said:
- On her piece in Five: "We were intrigued by the challenge of creating short stories that would defy audiences’ expectation of the subject. We wanted to balance the drama with humor and irreverence, because that’s what’s helped our friends who’ve faced this get through their treatment. We wanted stories that were informative without being heavy handed. Oh, and they needed to be brilliantly written. Other than that, our goals were small. [Laughs.]"
- On getting her star on the Walk of Fame: "It was a milestone in my career, which was surreal, because I still think I’m at the beginning of it. I remember when they told me about the honor, I thought, 'Really?' I’ve never lost that feeling of ‘Oh God, I hope I get this job!’ I don’t want to get too used to any of this because then entitlement sets in, and that’s the kiss of death."
- On what she wants in a relationship: "I would say I couldn’t be in a relationship without equality, generosity, integrity, spirit, kindness, and humor. And awesomeness."
