Hi. It's Allison McNamara, and welcome back to FabSugar TV. In today's DIY, I'm gonna show you how to recreate one of the hottest shoe trends of the season, metallic cap-toe heels. These shoes were in no short supply on Louis Vuitton's Spring runway, and stylish celebrities, including Kristen Stewart, Solange Knowles and Gwynneth Paltrow have already tried out this trend. So, today I'm gonna show you how to make your very own pair. Here's what you'll need. A pair of heels, silver spray paint, finishing gloss spray and painter's tape. The first step is to section off your cap-toe using your painter's tape. Remember, everything that isn't covered has the risk of getting sprayed. So, cover it up just in case. It's time to start spray painting. Hold your spray paint at least six inches away and keep reapplying until you're happy with the color. Let them sit and dry for 5 to 10 minutes. Then add a thin layer of finishing gloss spray to keep your shoes protected and shiny. And finally, the last step is to carefully pull of all the tape and voila, you now have your very own pair of au courant metallic cap-toe heels. Thanks for watching today's DIY sure to come back here for more. I'm Allison McNamara, and I'll see you next time on FabSugar TV.
