It's Official: Miley Cyrus Has a Signature Style

So far, 2013 has been a big fashion year for a certain Miley Cyrus.

So far, 2013 has been a big fashion year for a certain Miley Cyrus. She's been photographed in Chanel, Valentino, and Balmain (pictured from left to right at a Ryan Seacrest event, the Maxim Hot 100 Party, and the Billboard Music Awards) and is well on her way to achieving that one thing every style icon has mastered: a signature look. She's recently skipped over the majority of the colour spectrum, instead gravitating toward black and white accented with a third colour by way of her red lips. It gets more specific, too: beyond loving the two-toned combo, Miley's showing a serious propensity for playsuits rather than more common red carpet dresses.

The singer's image has gotten sexier as she's moved past her Hannah Montana stage, and fashion-wise, her cropped 'do seemed to usher in a whole new era of envelope-pushing fashion. Whatever the case, we love that she's turned into a dresser to watch.

We're Going Cuckoo for Keira as Coco

The teaser for the new Coco Chanel short starring Keira Knightley (who is also the face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle ads) called Once Upon a Time is finally here.

The teaser for the new Coco Chanel short starring Keira Knightley (who is also the face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle ads) called Once Upon a Time is finally here. Directed by Karl Lagerfeld, featuring Clotilde Hesme, Stella Tennant, Lindsey Wixon, Jamie Bochert, Lady Amanda Harlech and her daughter, Tallulah, Baptiste Giabiconi, Brad Kroenig and his son, Mr. Lagerfeld wanted his muses and favourite friends of the brand to be part of the project which focuses on the evolving Edwardian-influenced, social customs of the time. He told WWD , "There was a kind of luxury and elegance, for the ones that had money." He happened to also design the cream-coloured based wardrobe for Keira and Clotilde (who plays Coco's aunt), whilst the rest of the cast and street extras wore more historic costumes from the 1913 era.

The short will be seen by an audience for the first time on 8th May in Singapore at the 100th anniversary of the opening of the first Chanel boutique in Deauville. Following the screening, you will be able to watch it on chanelnews.com.

Now You Can Buy Chanel in Vending Machines

Hold onto your seat belts mates.

Hold onto your seat belts mates. It has just been announced that the latest launch from Chanel called, Le Volume de Chanel Mascara which is part of the Jeux de Regards collection, is going to be made available in vending machines placed in Selfridges Beauty Halls from 25th April to 8th May. Talk about instant gratification — shopping has never been this easy and this much fun!

What makes this mascara so unique is the newly created "snowflake brush" that is the first of its kind to create longer, plumper and thicker lashes. It is designed with stacks of little disks attached to stiff bristles that evenly coat each lash, and short bristles that lengthen and separate the lashes. Even more impressive is its quick drying formula which is something I'll appreciate since I hate having to wait for my mascara to dry before applying eyeliner. Pretty cool technology, I'd say.

Le Volume de Chanel will be selling in three shades of prune (purple), noir (black) and bleu (denim blue) online and in store on 3rd May, so if you can't make it over to your city's Selfridges, you need not panic. Will you be saving your pence for this mascara stocked vending machine?

Joan, Dree, and Alexa Are Chanel-Perfect at the Label's TFF Dinner

You can count on two things at Chanel's annual Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner: style setters of the A-list variety and loads of Chanel.

You can count on two things at Chanel's annual Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner: style setters of the A-list variety and loads of Chanel. Those were the common denominators at last night's festivities, where the dinner party was a real-life runway for Karl Lagerfeld's recent collections. Who better to showcase the designer's wares than guests (and real-life models) Joan Smalls, Alexa Chung, and Dree Hemingway. Joan's supermodel stems were on display in a grey tweed jumpsuit from the label's Pre-Spring '13 collection. Alexa exuded her signature charm in a creamy Chanel mini-dress from the Spring '13 line and cap-toe Mary Janes, then finished it all off with a bright red lip. Dree opted for a more colourful confection, choosing a pastel mini-dress from the Resort '13 line, and styled it with a white button-down underneath and a pair of black and white brogues for a tomboy twist. This fashion-conscious set gave us Chanel three ways — now it's up to you to decide who did it best. Who gets your vote?

Chanel Taps Two Beauties from Brazil and Britain

Whilst news broke this morning that English actress Keira Knightley will play Coco Chanel in the new Karl Lagerfeld film, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has been named as the face of Les Beiges, a new powder bronzer line for the brand.

Whilst news broke this morning that English actress Keira Knightley will play Coco Chanel in the new Karl Lagerfeld film, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has been named as the face of Les Beiges, a new powder bronzer line for the brand.

The film honours the 100th anniversary of the first ever Chanel store which opened in Deauville, France in 1913. Although it will look like the filming was done in the charming town of Deauville, they will just be sets recreated in Paris. Other models and actresses in the film are Stella Tennant, Clotilde Hesme, Tallulah Harlech and toddler Hudson Kroenig.

On the beauty side of things, Peter Philips has developed a range of bronzing powders that have just hit the shelves at £38 a piece for the compact and £33 for the kabuki brush. If you ask me, Gisele, with her glowing, tanned skin and impeccable bone structure is the perfect model for the five-colour line. Watch the 20 second advert above that features Gisele with her Les Beiges bronzer and tell me what you think of these choice ladies that Chanel has hand-picked.

Check out The 5 Latest New Faces in Fashion and Beauty

I might be pretty irked if I was a model.

I might be pretty irked if I was a model. After all, celebrities seem to be taking over the top spots in fashion and beauty campaigns that formerly went to them. But after looking at these gorgeous women, it's no wonder they are scoring these amazing gigs. Aside from Cara Delevigne as the new face of Pepe Jeans and Kate Moss for Kerastase, we have Tilda Swinton landing a highly coveted spot as a Chanel model, and I hear she was hand picked by Karl himself, Alexa Chung for L'Oreal and rising American star from the show Girls, Allison Williams for Simple Skincare. Check out the deals they've scored and see some of the early released campaign photos here.
