From the candyfloss creations on the catwalks to hair maestro Guido's love for huge piles of bird's nest hair, it seems that voluminous dos are everywhere. When Sarah Harding, Mischa Barton and Daisy Lowe are all supersizing their barnets, you know this is a trend with staying power.
I have naturally big, unruly hair and after years of trying to smooth it down with creams and serums, it's quite liberating to just go au natural. Friends with that typically British fine and thin hair have started overdosing on hairspray and back-combing to get some volume, while girls with beehives à la Amy Winehouse are becoming more common than those with poker straight ironed locks. How about you, are you following the big hair trend?
Gryphon
I'm with you Bella, already have the big hair.
Never tried to tame it down though,
even though it can be quite frustrating to hang out with people who have sleek shiny super fine hair!
1I just have too much hair... and it certainly doesn't do what it's told... have to say big hair is a lot more fun and is easier in the mornings my hair straight never really worked for me...
2Nope, my hair is straight and sleek!
Though I have always wanted
big hair ...
3i actually just tried a bit of the candyfloss hair for the first time today. i didn't go all out crazy huge hair, but i did an updo like i normally would, but made the back all candyfloss crazy.
it actually worked pretty good!
(i'm just scared of what my hair is going to look like when i take it down... i have NO idea how i'm going to comb it out, lol)
