Beyonce Knowles surprised me with her choice of designer for tonight's MTV EMAs. She wore two Gareth Pugh dresses for the event proving that the young British designers items are truly wearable. For the red carpet she opted for a dress from Pugh's Spring line. When Beyonce took to the stage she was wearing a grey industrial dress also by Pugh but from his Autumn '08 collection. I'm really impressed by her fearless approach to Pugh's designs and she is definitely pulling off. Now all we have to do is decide which of his designs suited her best?

When you have as much hip as Beyonce that 1st dress is not flattering... in fact no one should wear that dress...
1Um, the one she performed in is anything but "wearable." Very unflattering, and more than a little silly looking.
2Until the lights came up she looked huge on stage, such an unflattering dress and not even in an exciting way. It reminds me of those 'make a dress from the parts of a car' challenges on Project Runway, only this would definitely be out. I don't even like her red carpet look either because it is forced and her neck looks short.
3I love the red carpet outfit, including the crazy glove.
I like the performance outfit on the model on the runway...
4She look's great on the red carpet..
5Both ugly!
6Neither one are very appealing.... Im disappointed in her choices
7When Beyonce goes for a crazy style, one that say Christina Aguilera would rock so much better, it just comes off as "crazy"...Christina is much better at trying for and attaining "Fierce", B. Stick to your safe "pretty" dresses.
8definitely her red carpet look - the performance look is hideous, and I'm just glad she used it the way she did because that thing on the rc?! fashion disaster - it works for a show, though...
9Good God the one on the red carpet darling!!!!!! i just luv it such a pretty black dress and her figure is just perfect for the dress too...
