Justin Timberlake hit the red carpet to celebrate the release of The 20/20 Experience at LA's El Rey Theatre on Monday night. He was joined by newly single Ryan Seacrest, whose split from girlfriend Julianne Hough was announced last week. Also on hand for the bash was Emmy Rossum, Anna Kendrick, Nikki Reed, and a crowd full of fans, who were treated to a concert by Justin that included a performance of "Mirrors." He had made his way west after stopping over the weekend in Austin, TX, where he held a secret Myspace event.

Ben Affleck was among the stars who turned out for last night's Casting Society of America's Artios Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. He walked the carpet alongside other actors like Armie Hammer and Anna Kendrick. Ben was on hand to accept honors for the big-screen stars he assembled for his latest directorial project, Argo. His leading man from another endeavor, The Town's Jeremy Renner, was there to present Ben's statue.
We caught up with Ben before the award-giving commenced, and he dished all about Argo being No. 1 at the box office. Ben told us, "I was very excited, to be honest. I'm usually insecure, skeptical, or try to find the worst about it — but this was just a really nice thing. A lot of people worked really hard. Dramas like this don't really work well at the box office. Usually, it's more high-concept things. I was just really happy. I cut out and pasted a copy of the web page to keep it. Next time I want to make a movie like this, I want to say, hey look — you can be successful with movies like this."
Robert Pattinson attended Elle's Women in Hollywood last night as one of the few male attendees. He was on hand to honor his Bel Ami leading lady, Uma Thurman. Robert Pattinson sung Uma's praises in the role, saying their director sought "someone more intelligent, more charming, wittier and better in bed than me, which was obviously very difficult to cast." He also joked about being nervous, saying, "I'm learning how to read tonight. I find this terrifying." He didn't need to be worried, since plenty of ladies seemed happy to keep him company. In addition to chatting with Uma, Rob posed for photos with Jaime King and his Twilight pal Anna Kendrick. Rob's real-life leading lady, Kristen Stewart, skipped the event. Kristen and Rob have been hanging out, though, enjoying nights and afternoons out together around town.

It was the movie's stateside debut after the cast premiered the film at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.
We caught up with Jake and Michael on the red carpet, where Jake spoke to the "life-changing" experience of making the film. He told us he spent five months preparing for the shoot, which lasted less than 22 days in total. He and Michael play LAPD officers in the movie. The world of law enforcement and street crime was a familiar one for writer-director David Ayer — he also penned Training Day. Cameron stopped by Chelsea Lately to dish on her own feelings about family and motherhood, and also teamed up with her costar Jennifer Lopez to pay a visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Jennifer had to skip the overseas trip this week and stay put in LA for the finale episodes of American Idol, which air tonight and tomorrow. While Jennifer missed out on today's festivities, Anna Kendrick, in Christian Dior, and Chace Crawford, who play a couple in the movie, were on hand. So were Matthew Morrison, Cameron's love interest in the movie, and Rodrigo Santoro, who plays J Lo's husband.
