Hang on to your beehives girls, I definitely didn't see this one coming! It has just been revealed that singer Amy Winehouse will collaborate on a collection for PPQ.
Grazia got the skinny at the Mulberry Romance party from Amy Molyneaux, co-designer of PPQ who said, "The range will be all about high-end statement pieces, inspired by Amy's style. For example maybe an amazing piece of jewellery like a bracelet or a dress. It's going to be distributed online, we are going to be providing all materials and doing the design, but Amy will definitely be involved in the creative process. It will be very different to Peaches' line for PPQ as that was more of a diffusion line - this will be a homage to Amy's look."
I'm intrigued. My bet is that we can expect to see at lease a few body-con dresses, mini skirts (in denim perhaps?) and sweetheart halter tops. Would you be interested in buying Amy Winehouse for PPQ?

Let's put it this way - I'd rather wear an Amy Winehouse collaboration than a Peaches Geldof collaboration.

2No way.
3Despite the general 'scabby' appearance, I think that Amy has a pretty cute sense of style - I love the classic jeans, polo shirt and pumps look she wears a lot and the really cute fitted dresses. She generally has quite a fifties look, which I quite like, so if the line is anything like that I'm sure I'd consider it. And like BigD said, I'd rather wear Amy than Peaches.
4I'm intrigued. I also hope this is a sign she's getting well.
5She does have some pretty cute dresses, but I'd expect her only part of the "collaboration" will be as a cartoony inspiration, not a designer.
6I don't think that the problems a person has, has any impact on their creative talent, or ability, so I would most definately check out her line, I think she has a very distinctive style that I admire most of the time, so yeah why not, you never know, it could be great
7Would I ever want to dress LIKE Amy Winehouse? -no. Mega-short hotpants and OTT bras with loose spaghetti-strap vests are not my thing.
However some of the world's top hairdressers have the ugliest hair ever, so her way of dressing may have no influence on how she designs (if, in fact, she does do any actual designing for this collection). She could be as creative as with her songwriting skills. So we'll see...
