It's been a great, if not semistrange, week for movie casting news. Amanda Seyfried just signed on for a romantic comedy from Will Ferrell's production company, Gal Gadot earned the coveted role of Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman, Rita Ora will appear in Fifty Shades of Grey (along with a couple of other new cast members), and Zach Galifianakis will team up with Owen Wilson for a comedy. Click through to get the scoop on all of this week's biggest casting news!
This month is traditionally all about party dresses, Winter coats, Christmas jumpers, and wrapping up warm, but the fact it's December didn't get in the way of two of our favourite stars showing off memorable candy-coloured looks. Amanda Seyfried attended a press conference for Cle De Peau Beaute in Seoul, South Korea, wearing a pretty lace dress and nude peep toes — a surprisingly summery look given that temperates in the South Korean capital are barely topping 10 degrees right now. Meanwhile, in London, Pixie Lott was also braving the cold whilst baring her legs in a Moschino ensemble, though the fluffy trim on her bubblegum pink shorts probably added a bit of extra warmth! Despite the unseasonal nature, we loved the pop of colour both looks gave. But which one did you like best?
Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long made their relationship official when they made their first joint event appearance at the LAByrinth Theater Company's annual celebrity charades benefit in NYC last night. Amanda and Justin joined Saturday Night Live stars Bobby Moynihan and Rachel Dratch, as well as Rose Byrne and her Emmy-winning boyfriend, Bobby Cannavale, on the stage for a round of lively games. While Amanda looked happy to play with her beau at the bash, she gave some insight into one of her relationship no-nos when she tweeted sage love advice earlier this month, writing, "Stop tweeting your significant other." Maybe Amanda's tweet reveals why Justin rarely tweets at his blond lady, except when it's to praise her performance in Lovelace.
Amanda Seyfried dressed in a sexy, sheer Gucci number to attend a special screening of her film Lovelace at the Mayfair Hotel in London yesterday. She was joined overseas by her costar Peter Sarsgaard, who plays her abusive husband, Chuck Traynor, in the film, and the duo showed off their chemistry as they embraced for the festivities. Amanda has been staying busy with her promotional duties surrounding the movie lately, and she was up and at it again this morning for a stop by London's Capital radio.
Amanda plays famed 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace in the biopic, which she has deemed the "riskiest thing in Hollywood." For her portrayal of Linda, Amanda's nudity in the film has been a topic of conversation, which she seemed to embrace, revealing, "It's funny, because I felt liberated when I was doing it. I'm sure people that are very protective of me wouldn't feel very comfortable with that, but it's like, what's the big deal?" While Amanda appeared to shrug off the racy subject matter covered in the film, she did recognize the risk of taking on the role in a recent interview, saying, "The first thing you think about is that it could ruin my career."
If you've been following Amanda Seyfried's Lovelace appearances, then you already know she's showed off a pretty impressive lineup of dresses on the red carpet. She rarely sticks to the same formula, giving us something sweet one moment, something sexy the next, and changing up her designer picks, from Gucci to Stella McCartney. For her latest, the actress may have tapped right into the film's '70s vibe, stepping out in a semisheer shirtdress while promoting the movie in London. Get a closer look right here — and stay tuned for what's sure to be a long line of her spotlight-worthy looks right here.

This week's set is nothing short of jaw-dropping, if Rachel McAdams is any indication. The actress showed off a stunning floor-length Roksanda Ilincic gown at the About Time premiere — but there's a long list of other wow-worthy looks on our radar. To see the rest — like Amber Heard looking gorgeous in Vionnet — just keep clicking.
If you're still tapping your feet, waiting to break out your bold lipstick hues, quit waiting! If Amanda Seyfried and Lily Collins are any indication, now is the perfect time to bust out your blood-red hues . . . as long as you know how to wear them. Instead of the intensely smoky eyes that usually accompany bold lips in the Autumn, both ladies opted for barely-there shadow and bottom-heavy eyeliner. Amanda smudged a metallic bronze beneath her lower lash line, while Lily opted for a classic black.
Keeping with the balancing act, both ladies swept a subtle shadow on their lids, which opened their eyes up just enough. Finally, both Amanda and Lily donned their version of a bold brow. Balance is the key to acing this look now. So as long as you keep that in mind, there's no reason to neglect the vampy hues of Autumn for a second longer.
Kate Hudson wore denim –– yes, denim –– on the red carpet last night and pulled it off without a hitch! The blond beauty reached for an embellished denim mini for the premiere of her latest movie, Clear History, and she's not the only one testing out this casual fabric on the red carpet. Amanda Seyfried and Diane Kruger have already tried this out as well! Watch on to see Kate's spot-on style.
Amanda Seyfried's long locks have been known to induce hair envy among our editors, and yesterday she gave us two new looks to salivate over. She kicked off her Lovelace promotional tour yesterday updating her pretty daytime style for a stunning evening look. All you need to make a similar swap is a curling iron and bright red lipstick.
For the press conference during the day, Amanda wore a glossy blowout, which she paired with a neutral pink lipstick and a metallic smoky eye. To re-create her eye makeup, use the shimmery shades from the Clarins Eye Palette in Graphites (£31). The silver and gray mix lightens up the typical black smoky eye for a daytime affair, and Amanda balanced her eye makeup with a neutral pink lip hue. When it came to the red carpet, she kept the same eye makeup but added a bold crimson lipstick. To finish off her transition, Amanda curled the bottom lengths of her hair for a sideswept style with an Old Hollywood feel. This swap is easy enough to pull off in the office bathroom, but the update is different enough to turn heads.
Amanda Seyfried had a busy but glamorous day promoting her new film, Lovelace, around NYC yesterday. She started out her morning by joining her costars Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone, Debi Mazar, and Adam Brody for a press conference to discuss the biopic, which tells the story of 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace, who rose to fame through her iconic adult film, Deep Throat. After her morning of interviews, Amanda made a quick change into a pink-and-white Balmain ensemble for a stop by the Late Show With David Letterman, where she was accompanied by her dog, Finn, for the appearance. Later on in the evening, Givenchy-clad Amanda rejoined her Lovelace cast, Peter, Sharon, Debi, and Adam, on the red carpet for a screening of the film, which hits big screens on Aug. 9. Also in attendance for the film's NYC debut were her costars Chris Noth and Hank Azaria, as well as the film's directors, Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman. The cast and crew continued the fun at a rooftop afterparty following the screening.
We got to sit down and chat with Amanda and her costars during their busy promotional day in the Big Apple — stay tuned for our interviews on POPSUGAR TV!
