Ambassador for British cool – Agyness Deyn is to be the new face of Shiseido. The Japanese makeup brand has dropped Angelina Jolie and announced that Agyness will be their new face for the autumn/winter 2008-9 Maquillage campaign.
Angelina Jolie will be stepping down as the brand ambassador after enjoying two years fronting the campaign. As beautiful as Angelina is, Agyness has an undeniably edgier and younger appeal that is well suited to the cutting-edge brand.
As well as making her musical debut recently, singing vocals on "Who" with the Five O'Clock Heroes, Agyness told NME that she's formed her own band called Gene Jacket. Add her impressive modelling CV, which includes campaigns for Burberry and Jean Paul Gaultier, and she's obviously on a roll. Keep up the good work, Agie!

Angelina has never been the face of Shiseido Maquillage campaign, she modelled for Shiseido's Integrate line, which is only available in Japan.
I think you should check out your facts out because there is never an announcement from Shiseido that Agyness replaced Angelina. The news came out from British tabloid, what is real is that Agyness has been tapped to join the 3 other Japanese models who represents Maquillage line, and she is not going to model the Integrate line. Unless she does, then she did not replaced Angelina and Shiseido has not dropped her yet.
1On an earlier post, I mentioned that British model Agyness Deyn will join the four Japanese brand ambassadors for Maquillage's fall 2008 campaign. The collection features collaboration with British fashion designer Christopher Kane, including 6 of the 12 new shades of Lasting Climax Rouge.
Here is the first look at one of the ad images, featuring two fall 2008 items, Forming Shiny Eyes in 55 and Lasting Climax Rouge in BE305. According to Iswii, Agyness Deyn will continue to appear on Maquillage's seasonal collection ads.
Apart from the new Lasting Climax Rouge shades, the Maquillage fall 2008 collection will also include Forming Shiny Eyes (5 variations), Designer Cheek Colors (two shades), and Soft Brow Liner (3 shades.)
The collection will be released in Japan on July 21st. Later, on August 21st, a new powder foundation case designed by Christopher Kane will be released.

It did not mention she is replacing Angelina and is not modelling Integrate collection but Maquillage.
