This month is traditionally all about party dresses, Winter coats, Christmas jumpers, and wrapping up warm, but the fact it's December didn't get in the way of two of our favourite stars showing off memorable candy-coloured looks. Amanda Seyfried attended a press conference for Cle De Peau Beaute in Seoul, South Korea, wearing a pretty lace dress and nude peep toes — a surprisingly summery look given that temperates in the South Korean capital are barely topping 10 degrees right now. Meanwhile, in London, Pixie Lott was also braving the cold whilst baring her legs in a Moschino ensemble, though the fluffy trim on her bubblegum pink shorts probably added a bit of extra warmth! Despite the unseasonal nature, we loved the pop of colour both looks gave. But which one did you like best?
Scoff if you will, but as far as we're concerned Harry Styles is entirely deserving of the British Style Award he won at Monday night's British Fashion Awards.
Styles beat out Kate Moss, David Beckham, Kate Middleton, and Cara Delevingne for the trophy, which "recognises an individual who most embodies the spirit of London and is an international ambassador for London as a leading creative fashion capital." Alexa Chung had won the award, which allows the public to cast votes, for the past three years in a row.
What evidence do we have that Styles has earned this trophy, you ask? Click on for some of the singer's most stylish moments of 2013.
Everyone has that friend (or sister, or girlfriend) who knows how to work laid-back, contemporary style without lifting a finger. She's the girl who looks like a constant street style photo, always aware of the latest trends, and able to wear them in an effortless, pared-back manner. Maybe she's you? Finding the perfect present for her can be daunting, but we've got the secrets. Keep it simple, look for modern labels and cult designers with their finger on the fashion pulse, and you'll impress even the most hard-to-please fashion fan. Click through for our favourite contemporary finds for the festive season.
We're not about to let a little snow or ice stand in the way of a good outfit. That doesn't mean going bare-legged or refusing to bundle up (we want to look stylish, not clueless), but we refuse to wear a sleeping bag masquerading as a coat.
Clearly, this street styled crew knows the feeling — showing off a set of Winter-ready outfits that don't include oversize puffers or snow boots. Instead, their looks inspire a sleek, pulled-together standard for your cold-weather looks, because a little inclement weather should never stand in the way of a great outfit. Click through for the inspiration, and prepare to layer up in style.

It's not that hard to look chic when you're wearing head-to-toe Dior. That's what Naomi Watts did last night at a party celebrating the reopening of Kirna Zabete, the much-loved New York boutique. Watts wore a pale blue silk jacquard dress with a red graphic floral print from the house as well as a pair of black heels. It makes sense — a section of the new store is dedicated to Dior wares.
Black dresses aside, Kelly Rowland and Allison Williams couldn't have looked more different last night at the Winter Ball for Autism in New York City. Kelly made her first appearance since her engagement in a curve-hugging number with shimmering embellishment along its left sleeve.
Meanwhile, Allison Williams had a princess moment in a lace gown with a full tiered skirt by Oscar de la Renta. She finished off the dramatic ensemble with a sleek clutch, which was also by the brand, a statement cocktail ring, and a pair of matching earrings. Whose take on the classic black dress did you think won on the red carpet?
For today's how-to, we're showing you how you can get your engagement ring clean and sparkly using household remedies. All of these techniques are perfectly safe for all different types of precious stones and metals. Whether you want to try using baking soda, dishwasher detergent, or ammonia, your precious piece will be clean and sparkly in no time. The bonus? You can also use these tips to clean other pieces in your jewellery box. On Allison McNamara: H&M top, Ann Taylor necklace.
