Mary Portas is working hard to help shops across the UK. In her previous series she overhauled independent shops up and down the country, but now her plans are more specific. With her latest project Mary will save charity shops outside of the M25 which are in need of some tender loving care.
The three part series begins this evening on BBC2 at 9pm, will you be tuning in to support Mary's latest endeavour?

Yes, love Mary Portas anyway, but I'm particularly interested in this series because I use to assistant manage an Oxfam clothing store and always had some stubborness from the older ladies that volunteered.
1i helped out in a charity shop, as a volunteer, and all i got was a jealous assistant manager because i was good at selling stuff, and good with the customers, which the manager loved to tell the assistant. Thus she got jealous. they earned more money through me, i left and not long after the shop closed. i gave ideas exactly as this program goes, its just common sense! and some of the helpers are really like that, but because most dont train them, they are volunteers put in and expected to run and look after a shop, but normally in retail it just wouldnt be done!
2No, I cannot STAND this woman - she is so irritating and patronising. I especially hate her column in Grazia and think it is absolutely a waste of space.
