To be honest, I find platform heels incredibly ugly. And really not flattering.

Those shoes are ridiculous. See the guy next to her? He looks like he's ready to catch her should she trip. It's just a broken ankle waiting to happen. A helmet should be required if you're going to wear heels like that!

YES and it's so upsetting, all nice shoes are too high now. I need comfort as well as beauty.

not a huge fan of platforms. plus I can imagine the pain one would feel if they wobbled in those and rolled their ankle or worse.

I,m not crazy about high heels. I'm petite and I feel okay about it. No complex. I'd rather be comfortable and look at ease than ridiculous and walking as if I wanted to pee in high heels.

These go a little too far...too far in the upward direction, that is. When you get that much of a platform, you start to look like an off-duty stripper.

generally the heel can be up to 6" if its a thin heel and not a wedge. wedges and platforms look tacky. stripper platforms look cheap and hookery. sexy classy heels for me (i'm 5'6") would be about 5"

Those sky high platforms are not sexy when you can't walk in them and they look like a broken ankle waiting to happen.A 4 inch high heel without a platform is high enough to be sexy and much more wearable.
