Sequins and sparkles are a staple for the holiday season, and will instantly spice up any assemble. So, in today's episode of Currently Trending, we're gonna show you three exciting ways add a little glitz into your winter wardrobe. Celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce, and Alexa Chung have been spotted in sequins and sparkles, and it was a huge trend on the fall runway. So we are here at Bloomingdale's in Santa Monica, to show you how to wear this playful material for every occasion. Sequins don't always have to be for the night time. Britney is wearing a multicolored sequin tank that we paired with a black crop trouser. We toned down the entire outfit by adding a textured tweed jacket and then finish off the outfit whit an edgy loafer, but if you're heading to a holiday party you can easily throw in a pump. This is a great option for a dressier, more conservative holiday party. We instantly fell in love with this gold-sequin pencil skirt. The great thing about this skirt is that it's not too short so it's not too overwhelming. We paired it with a neutral top to balance out the shine, and then added black accents, like patent pumps and a structured black blazer, to finish off the look. For our final look, Britney is wearing this amazing sequin dress. We chose this because it's really fresh way to wear sequins with a white and black pattern. This look is great for New Year's Eve, or a night out, and we wanted to streamline the leg so we threw on a pair of opaque black tights and some strappy black shoes, and then finished off the outfit with a bold lip color and a colorful cocktail ring.
