The British Fashion Awards [1] took place earlier this week and it seems that Alexa Chung might have used the opportunity for a spot of business development. The rumour mill [2] is today suggesting that Alexa might be about to announce a collaboration with High Street retailer New Look [3] as she was seated at their table on Tuesday night!

Alexa's style is much sought after and this year has seen her plunged in to the style spotlight [4] as we desperately lust after her vintage style dresses and funky ensembles. However, before we get too excited about the news, she could be simply starring in a New Look campaign a la Pixie Geldof [5] and Agyness Deyn [6]. I would like to play it cool about the possibility of an Alexa capsule collection but I must admit that I'm excited.

New Look have previously produced collaborations with Lily Allen and Kelly Brook so it's not unlikely! I would expect an Alexa collection to include vintage dresses, pumps, satchels and a leather jacket or two. Maybe even leather trousers after last night's red carpet look [7].
