With the recent trend for oversize hair bows and ribbon-strewn hair bands, this look is moving into the mainstream. From Jaime Winstone's Minnie Mouse bow to the 80's vogue for tongue-in-cheek hair accessories, it could be time to jump on the bandwagon. Personally, I'm torn between loving this look and it reminding me too much of Christmas 1987 when I was forced to don an unsightly pink satin bow all through dinner, much to the annoyance of my six year old self!

How about you, will you be following this trend?

If I didn't already look about 12 (as told to me by a literary agent at a publishing presentation) I would totally wear them. But I think they would reduce me to the age of 5.
1Haha love what people can come up with in social occasions!
Well I do wear quirky headbands a lot and, yes, one has a big golden bow on the side (Topshop). Don't think I could go for a real bow though, I don't like feeling like an Easter egg.
2I've done it before and I'll do it again (:
3I wore a big red bow on Halloween that I really loved and I wore them a lot to my old work to keep my hair out my face.
4im not too keen on the ones that make you look like minni mouse and all floppy, but some can make a look quirky...
