This Friday is Halloween [1] but not everybody wants to dress up as a cat [2], a witch [3] or anything else ghoulish. Some people will want to dress up in a very classy party ensemble and there are many options available!

This season gothic chic appeared on the catwalk at Givenchy and Gareth Pugh so it's a particularly good time for Halloween costumes. If money is no object then there are some beautiful black dresses by Christian Lacroix [4] (£3190) and Alexander McQueen [5] (£1820). There are also skirts in leather and mini skirts with 'flippy' detail [6].
