Iconic British designer Paul Smith presented his latest offering to London Fashion Week [1] yesterday closing the second day of the fashion week. He chose to showcase the line at London's Claridges.
There was a strong Eastern influence to the collection with head scarves, turbans and scarf-ties. [2] Smith used plain, basic fabrics such as cheesecloth and linen in neutral shades [3] for the first half, before breaking in to colour. There were a couple of blurry printed chiffon dresses [4] which were long with a high neckline.
Smith also kept up the trend for high waisted wide-leg trousers [5] which were still in neutral colours with tailored blazers.
The collection was quite unusual for Paul Smith and seems relatively unwearable, but what do you think of it?
