The Topshop Unique show is becoming a standard London Fashion Week opening day show. Its popularity is testament to the stores ability to cross over into the mainstream and this season's show was attended by UK celebrities Peaches Geldof, Alexa Chung and Roisin Murphy.
Hemlines were high for Spring 2009 as retro '80s prints adorned t-shirt dresses and Jean Paul Gaultier inspired baby-grow jumpsuits. Acid-wash denim appeared in bright red and dark blue. They also promoted dark denim tops and bottoms, broken up only slightly by a printed t-shirt and headscarf.
The collection was targeted to teens, however, it hasn't stopped me lusting after this temperature printed vest!

There was a quote on the Guardian Style email this morning that said something about the collection looking like a Bananarama video, my first thought was Dexy's Midnight Runners. But either, or really. I do really like some of the shoes though.
