The 2008 Beijing Olympics kicked off on Friday with an amazing opening ceremony. Most of the athletes taking part in the games paraded around the birds nest stadium showing off their smart uniforms. Team USA had their uniform designed by Ralph Lauren and it even included newsboy hats. Great Britain wore a white blazer over a navy blue ensemble (skirts for girls, trousers for guys - very traditional). Fab US already asked if you loved the USA ensemble but now I wanna know which do you prefer, Great Britain or USA?

I don't know why the UK even bother with the Olympics. Not only are they rubbish at most of the sports, they can't even put on a nice outfit for the occasion! I am backing the USA's offering for Olympic style, the flat caps are brilliant!

2I prefer team GB's. The USA's is a little too preppy, they look like they should be working on a yacht or something.

8GB dresses are too matronly...love the Ralph Lauren. Go USA!
9I prefer the GB's more relaxed approach...the white belts are a nice touch and I like that women are wearing skirts. The USA uniforms are really a bit too preppy, there's too much going on and it looks like the blazers aren't very flattering.
