New York Fashion Week isn't just about the shows, there are also a whole lot of parties! After his show this week, Marc Jacobs attended Jennifer Hudson's album launch celebration with friend Victoria Beckham.
Marc is never one to shy away from controversy so his outfit choice isn't exactly surprising. He wore a blue a-line skirt with gladiator sandals and a classic black shirt.
I'm not sure what Marc was going for here. If he'd have opted for a tartan skirt then it would clearly be a nod to the Scottish, but now I'm not sure what I make of it. Do you think this look is freaky or fabulous?

I was all ready to say freaky when I thought, hmm actually he looks pretty hot
1I am all for Marc Jacobs and he is hot, but that skirt didn't do him any justice - especially not in that color!
2i like the idea that he is probably the country's top trendsetter, and here he is basically saying: "why can't a skirt be masculine?" interesting. what a genuinely cool guy. love it!
3Hah reminds me of U2's Adam Clayton who used to wear a sarong in the Achtung Baby days.
Weirdly fabulous, but then again it'd be difficult to make Marc Jacobs look bad.
4it's Marc Jacobs! it's a little bit of both!
5only Marc could pull this off, and I don't think he looks half-bad. the color and velvet-looking fabric are awful, but the length and silhouette of the skirt along with his gladiator sandals actually make him look like a modern-day Greek. didn't men wear skirts then too? oh, and MJ totally is hot, I don't care if he is gay...
