Way back in March I reported on the ankle grazer jeans trend which began to sweep the nation for Spring. On warmer days when it wasn't cold enough for full length trousers they made the perfect alternative. Now that we're edging in to Autumn the trend continues but with a slight twist.

For the cooler months the trend has taken over tailored trousers. The skinny fit formal wear has been cut slightly shorter to reveal your ankle boots and maybe even flash a bit of ankle!

The new style are slightly higher waisted than in previous seasons and nod to the jodhpur trend with slightly baggier hips. The shape is certainly more forgiving than previous skinny styles. If you have to wear office wear on a daily basis then this is a great way to make your smart ensemble slightly funkier without going too crazy.
