Sky One has today confirmed that there won't be a fourth series of Project Catwalk. The show was presented by Kelly Osbourne and watched aspiring fashion designers compete for success.
Richard Woolfe, channel controller, hinted at the Edinburgh International TV Festival that the programme might be coming to an end.
"What we really need are some female-friendly formatted shows. 8pm is a real opportunity. We're doing really well at 9pm and 10pm but I'd really like to see some long-running returnable series. We've done three seasons of Catwalk; I want some other shows for that slot."
Sky are insistent that the show came to, "a natural end".
In other TV fashion news, a show which planned to put nuns on the catwalk has been canceled. Italian priest Antonio Rungi said that the idea had been 'misunderstood'.

I'm quite sad about that, I really enjoyed watching Project Catwalk.
1Sky completely killed this on their own. I was so excited for the first season, but they made the big mistake of making it too "reality show" and hardly anything to do with DIY fashion. Complaints directly sent to Sky to update the website with the outfits (or ANY updates) like its American counterpart were ignored, and half of each episode was wasted with "coming up next" and "recap" segments after every single commercial break. The American version succeeds because they listened to their viewers and made it appealing, interesting, and something to aspire to. The UK version failed because the people in charge didn't understand its appeal one bit and just shoved it into the "reality tv" category.
2Squirrellypoo, I completely agree, the format was so annoying to watch, and you never even saw the clothes properly! And the coming up next/recap was SO pointless, it just felt like they were trying to fill up the allotted time. It's a shame, because I do think there were some quite talented designers featured on there.
