We knew that House of Holland could not live off printed t-shirts forever so it was great to see a slight change in direction from designer Henry Holland for Autumn/Winter '08. There was a brief flash of his staple item with a grey printed t-shirt simply reading 'HOH'.
There was a running Scottish theme for the new line, with nearly every piece featuring tartan and even a couple of knitted plain kilts, a contemporary colour scheme bringing the pieces up to date. The collection sourced from a bright colour palette with fuschia, yellow and purple knitwear. Kilt buckle detailing featured heavily appearing at the bottom of skinny trouser legs and on coats to continue the theme.
The piece de la resistance of the collection was a tiered tartan wedding dress worn by House of Holland muse Agyness Deyn. It was teamed with tartan antlers, tartan eye patch and a bridal veil.

very punk and a lot of plaid!
1I think I like HOH better without all the tshirts.
2SWEET! maybe i'll finally get a chance to wear my tiny, pink, impulse-bought kilt again.
3My sister in law is SCOTTISH and getting married this year. Think I should recommend the tartan wedding dress to her. It would certainly be unique!!
4I’ve seen that this charity auction website has got Disney ‘Mickey Ears’ up for auction designed by Henry Holland and other celebs to help raise money for charity. The Mickey Ears are being exhibited in Brix Smith-Start’s boutique START, London. Here’s the link if anyone wants a look,
