Bows aren't just for little girls anymore. These adorable adornments are making their comeback front and centre on some of the hottest dresses around town. Last week Holly Valence was spotted at the Radio Times Cover Party at Claridges Hotel wearing a sparkling bow mini, whilst Rachel McAdams looked elegant and poised in a bow dress posing on the red carpet for the Munich premiere of her latest movie The Vow. Lastly, the Dior Haute Couture 2012 show in Paris was full of ladylike over-sized bows looks. Couture Fashion Week: Elie Saab

We can already imagine celebrities waiting in line for a piece of Elie Saab's collection. For Spring, Saab emoted pure femininity, highlighting gorgeous gowns dipped in a rainbow of pretty pastel hues. Dresses ranged from short to long, showing intricate floral and beading details, most of which were cinched in with a dainty little bow belt. Meanwhile, streamlined silhouettes kept the look fresh and modern. Sheerness also came into play, adding subtle, sexy mystique to an otherwise overtly feminine collection. The closer? A pink and white floral printed wedding dress complete with a cathedral-length tulle veil. Right now we're in the throes of Couture Fashion Week in Paris, and along with the elegant clothing and accessories for show are the beautiful hair and makeup looks. Whilst slicky ponytails and low buns are reigning on the runways, the majority of makeup looks are polished and airy — how very French chic.
