Fashion's Finest Preview V&A's British Ballgowns Exhibition

Last night at the V&A in London, a host of fashion fans headed to a private view of the museum's new Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950 exhibition. The display of gorgeous gowns opens to the public on May 19, but designers like Sarah Burton, Alice Temperley, Roksanda Ilincic, Gareth Pugh, John Rocha and Erdem Moralioglu plus model Laura Bailey and actress Joan Collins got a sneak peek. Featuring more than sixty designs for private parties, royal balls, state occasions and opening nights, the exhibition celebrates the V&A's newly renovated Fashion Galleries, which feature red carpet evening dresses and catwalk creations. Last night in London, Geri Halliwell showed off her new hairdo at a Marie Curie Cancer Fundraiser at Claridge's. Ginger Spice has been strawberry blonde for a number of years now, but she's tended to keep her locks long and flowing. The British singer turned fashion designer has gone for the chop now with a chin-length curly bob replacing her previous shoulder-length style.
